Terms of Service

User Agreement
By installing or using myClassroom, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use myClassroom.

Subscriptions & Payments
Subscriptions and payments are managed securely through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time via Stripe's customer portal. Subscriptions will renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Refunds are subject to our refund policy, and typically all sales are final unless otherwise noted.​

Permitted Use
You may use myClassroom for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute myClassroom without explicit permission.

Restrictions
You must not misuse myClassroom, engage in malicious activity, or attempt to compromise the security or performance of our systems.

Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and related to myClassroom remain owned exclusively by us.

Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access to myClassroom at any time if you violate these terms.

Limitation of Liability
myClassroom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use or inability to use myClassroom.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, State of North Dakota.

Privacy Policy

Information Collected

  • Email addresses for user identification and account management.

  • Subscription status and payment confirmation via Stripe.

  • Audio data recorded via the "Notes Tool" is saved locally on your device, and is not uploaded or stored. The "Noise Meter Tool" only analyzes audio db levels, and does not record or store sessions.

  • User text input for "Classes" and "Routines" are transmitted briefly via Microsoft Azure for AI text-to-speech conversion. No audio or text data transmitted to Azure is stored or collected. From Microsoft Azure Documentation: "For real-time speech to text, audio input is processed only on the Azure's server memory, and no data is stored at rest. All data in-transit are encrypted for protection. Use of Information

  • To provide user authentication, subscription verification, and myClassroom functionality.

  • To manage subscription and payment statuses.

  • To communicate with users regarding updates, changes, or necessary notices.

Data Storage

  • Email addresses and subscription/payment data are securely stored in Firebase. Access to data is limited and secured.

  • No user audio data is permanently stored or retained.

FERPA and COPPA Compliance
myClassroom is designed to protect the privacy of students and minors in accordance with FERPA and COPPA. We do not collect personal data from children.

Sharing Information
We do not sell or share your data with third parties other than Stripe (for payment processing) and Microsoft Azure (for real-time processing only, no storage).

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.

Cookies & Tracking
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies beyond basic myClassroom functionality and subscription management.

Data Retention
User data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or comply with legal obligations.

Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted here, with the effective date clearly noted.

Refund Policy

myClassroom is committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please carefully review our refund policy outlined below:

Refund Eligibility: You may request a refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. Refunds are only eligible for Admin Subscriptions and Staff Licenses on the Desktop Versions of the app (Windows and Mac). Staff License refunds are limited to 20 licenses per Admin account.

Required Information for Refund Requests:

When requesting a refund, please email myClassroom.apps.contact@gmail.com with the following details to expedite processing:

  1. School Name

  2. Email Address of the account

  3. Physical Address of the school

  4. Number of Licenses Purchased

  5. Proof of Administrative Status (such as a valid school ID)​

  6. Reason for refund request.

Processing of Refunds: Upon receiving your complete refund request and required documentation, we will verify the information and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5 business days.

If approved, your refund will be processed promptly through our payment provider (Stripe), and the credited amount should appear in your original payment method account within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
